What cannot go in the trash can?

We cannot accept any electronics. Please contact the El Paso County Household Hazardous Waste for drop off locations: 719-520-7878 Concrete, dirt, hot charcoals and bricks are also not accepted.

What Holidays will delay my service?

Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Labor Day, Memorial Day and the 4th of July. If the Holiday falls on a weekend there will be no delay. If the holiday falls on a weekday the day of the Holiday and every day after will be delayed by one day.

When will you pick up my trash?

Your designated trash can should be at the curb by 7 am on your pick up day and will be picked up between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm.

What if I have extra trash that will not fit in the garbage can?

We accept two bags per week next to your can and any bags beyond that will cost an additional $1.50 per bag. If you have bulk items or more than 3 bags you need to call our office ahead of time to schedule the bulk pick up. (719) 357-8855

What if I need to go out of town and need to pause my service?

You must call your residential dumpster service and schedule ahead of time otherwise you will still be charged for pick up.

What if I did not put my trash out on time and need a return visit for pick up?

There is a return charge of $35.00 to come back before your next pick up.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept cash, checks, A.C.H., and card.

When will payment be pulled for my residential dumpster service?

We charge all of our services prior to the actual service. Please refer to your invoice for your current due date, if you need assistance please call (719) 357-8855

What items can be put in your single stream recycling bins?

Aluminum cans, newspapers, cardboard, glass bottles, and paper bags.

What items can NOT be put in your single stream recycle bins?

Dirt, leaves, yard waste, plastic bags, Styrofoam, food, items with food on them (pizza boxes), and light bulbs.

What if my A.C.H. or check for payment does not clear?

A returned check or an A.C.H. transaction that does not clear will result in stopped service and a $35.00 fee. Please make sure to send payment ahead of time to avoid extra cost and service interruption!

What if I have bulky items that will not fit in my trash cans?

We can do a single item curbside/bulk pick up! Please visit our curbside junk removal page to order a pick up or call us to schedule the pick up at (719) 357-8855. If you have more than one item we also offer roll-off dumpster rentals in 10, 12, 15, 20, and 30 yards please call (719) 357-8855 for more information.

What if I need to cancel my garbage service, residential dumpster rental, or change my service address?

You must call us ahead of time for any changes.

What if the weather is bad and you cannot make it?

If the weather prevents us from our regular garbage pickup service, we will return the following business day. If it lasts more than one day we may pick up the following week and you can place your extra at the curb with your garbage can. We will do everything we can to get there as fast as possible.

If I cancel service early is there a refund?

No, the services are paid ahead and are non-refundable.

What if my bill is past due?

If your bill is past due, there will be a $25 fee to re-activate your account.

Do you have paper statement fees?

To reduce waste and keep your prices low, we give you the option of online statements or paper statements. The optional paper statement fee is only $3.00 per billing cycle. Save big and go paperless! Sign into your account, click the “Billing” tab, click “Billing Options,” turn on your email notifications, turn off “Printed Bill” and hit “Submit.”
